So I'm a junior right now, and if I continue taking classes @ the current rate I could graduate around April of next year with a BA in Business and English. After that I was thinking of trying to start my own business and if that failed go back to school for an MBA. (Ironic, yes...)

On the other hand, if I work really hard next year + summer +fall I could get a BS.

So my question to totse is: what will open more doors ( how much more $); a BA or BS?

i would talk to an advisor in the department about the differences between the BA and BS programs.

if you plan on going on to graduate school, say to get your MBA, then a BA might be preferred. a BA implies a broader education, and law and business schools like to see that.

if you're starting your own business, it's not like you'd be applying for a position...but it seems like you're asking which would look better on a resume. i don't get it. if you have an MBA, they probably aren't going to care if your undergrad degree was a BS or BA.

Depends on where you live/where you want to live. Big city go with BS more impressive and it will give you an edge. If you will live in a small city go with BA everyone will give you props. Or just go straight to MBA w/BA that way you will rape everything in your path.
