So earlier, I was talking to my mum, and she was telling me how Bush wants to do this whole "Road to Peace" thing before he is out of office.

The "Road to Peace" as I understand, involves Jerusalem being split in two, with the one half becoming the capital of a Palestinian state.
Now, there is a prophecy or something which says, "Bless Israel and you will be blessed, but curse Israel and you will be cursed."

In Yellowstone National Park, there is a super volcano http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17629668/ which is 40,000 years overdue for blowing it's top. If (when?) it blows, the eruption is expected to be 2500 times the size of Mt St Helens.

How these two things relate, is *apparently* if Jerusalem is divided, this volcano will blow, wiping out most of the states, showering ash all around the world, etc.

What is your guys opinion?

Considering that it is due to blow as it is, I think I'm gonna start working on that bunker.

Well gee, I don't know...what to seismologists say about the fault lines of this super volcanoe being attached to the man made political lines of a country on the other side of the world.

That is what I thought. Doomsayers are NOTHING new, and so far not a fucking one has been right. You'll exuse me if I put ZERO stock in the assertion that divinding and sharing Israel with the filthy infidels will cause a super volcanoe to erupt.

IMHO, the whole subject is loony, but entertaining.

I get so sick and tired of this fucking topic. First off, I don't support terrorism and I would've nuked those sand niggers a long time ago, but that is a topic for another thread. But, all that aside, that land belongs to the Palestinians. They were there first. The Israelites believe that land is theirs because their "God" promised it to them. The only reason the US backs Israel is because the majority of this country is Christian and they believe that if we don't back Israel "God" will curse us. We are in the middle of a fucking holy war that we have no business in. Let Israel and Palestine fight it out themselves.

Complete utter horseshit.

1. "Curse" is a conveniently vague term. A outbreak of herpes could be interpreted as a "curse" by religious opportunists wanting to further their silly cause.

2. You said it yourself, the volcano is "due" to erupt. Just because it manages (lets say it does) to erupt in the future after some event in the Middle East, does not mean there is a connection (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post_hoc_ergo_propter_hoc).

I'm a little worried about your mother. Did she link the volcano to Jerusalem, or was that something you came up with on your own?

I don't know anyhting about doomsday scenario's but you'd better not put your money on that bunker. The people of Heraculaneum hid in vaults and bunkers and they either got caved in by evaporating hot ash, instantly turning the vaults into furnaces or got burried in the stuff and instantly mummified.

Your best bet: RUN LIKE HELL in the other direction.

Personally, I would drop an H-bomb on that motherfucking city.
