As some of you from #totsebb know, I am going to pull a tour of aussie land in 10-13 months ...so roughly around the end of winter in the USA in 2009. So...i was thinking...maybe I'll see if any of you guys want to meet up. So far I am going to be in the queensland then go see some people north and south of the Sydney area. the main idea of this trip is to go diving,however since I'm on that side of the planet may was well see you guys.
I'm not sure exactly who is out there though...so maybe we could have a 1-2 day meet up someplace? who knows...i figure since I am making plans now I can work in a night or two doing pyro. Who knows....we could all run out and find a kangaroo for me to fight :p
like i said it will be in 10-13 months before I go out...so there is a lot of time to plan..just want to know if you guys are open for it so i can figure out how much money i need to save up.

oh...before i forget...kiknet...do you still have that air-rifle? If you do I'm going to smuggle you like 5,000 .177 pellets for that thing :p

edit: mods...i know this should be in the PRRT, however it is about a meet up plans...figure it should have it's own area.

Strangely enough, WA, despite being a fucking hole in the ground, seems to have accumulated a nice volume of posters on BB.

I think it's because we have so much empty space and so little to do.

So yeah, if you came over west, there'd be a nice turn-out for sure, but don't change your trip just for us.

And yeah, air rifles, air soft, paintball and pellet guns are all Class E firearms requiring a license, restricted imports and heavily taxed.

Didn't know there were that many west aussies on here.

If you end up over this side, let us know. I'd be willing to drive up to Perth or wherever for a few drinks with some fellow pyros. (I'm a tad south o' Perth)

so...a bit of an update on things..not that you guys care..but figure it will help if things work out. I'm still working on the plans....kinda. Mostly everything is in my head...so I'm able to play around with the idea. the trip so far is me flying in to QULD and diving the reef for a week with my dad. Now I also need to go down to NSW and see a few friends, then maybe fly to perth for a day or two...then fly back home. I really need to see what my dad is willing to do. If he is willing to dive then fly back to the USA, I can go solo. Maybe get a huge ass backpack and go from there....so when i find out more I'll make a post.
