View Full Version : Minitor V Hypersensitivity?

I'm just wondering if anyone here has experienced paging hypersensitivity with the new Motorola Minitor V's?

There's some people on our department who have anywhere from 5 to 10 false activations per day, set off by RF interference from cellphones, computers, what have you.

A major selling point of the Minitor V is the increased sensitivity, so you can receive an alert even with a very low signal, but the false activations are becoming so troublesome that our radio supplier is simply reprogramming the sensitivity to the same level as the III's and IV's. There's also an active complaint case open with Motorola regarding this situation.

So, anyone else had these problems?

Well, everything's been reprogrammed, and I haven't had a problem since.

Haven't heard a word from Motorola, either.

BTW, hi guys. :)
