Most of the people on My God are atheists, and often anti-theistic, save for a handful of posters. But does anyone here believe in a higher power that created the universe and doesn't intervene? If so, why?

Nothing created the universe...the universe created the Gods, they are a product of the universe just like you and me. And they do intervene, sometimes...when they feel like it and they like you, most of the time they won't though.
