View Full Version : ATTN: God Fearing Christian faggots
Christianity is the biggest bullshit of all time:
You believe that a person must ask Jesus into his heart or he's going to "Hell." You also believe that a person has up to a certain point to be held responsible for their sinful ways, which is the age when they can understand the concept.
So my first question is to you: Why not KILL every human baby that is born, so that way they'll automatically go straight to heaven, instead of letting them play Russian roulette with their souls? It doesn't make senses since to you people, life is short compared to the eternalness of your next life. SO WHY LET SOMEONE RISK GOING TO HELL FOR ETERNITY?!
Why not just cut out the middle man and save some fucking souls?
Please enlighten me.

Too easy:
THOU SHALT NOT KILL!
You should probably read the bible before you try to pick it apart.
Edit: I'm not saying that Christianity is not bullshit, because it most surely is (as are all other religions). I'm just pointing out the worthlessness of your argument.

Funny, I haven't found a passage in the Bible that says either of those.

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
You also believe that a person has up to a certain point to be held responsible for their sinful ways, which is the age when they can understand the concept."
1:39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
Isaiah 7:14 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.
1Pe 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

Christ taught Love, Understanding, and Forgiveness
Christians are the people who mutilate his words into some form of social control.

The simple fact that God is supposed to have made everything and done everything and control everything yet there's a devil and hell ruins the whole thing right from the start.
doing away with needless mysticism would save human civilization a couple centuries or so, so, all of you, would you please.

No offense but, topics like this have been discussed to death on this forum. Don't let that discourage you though from bashing christianity.

I can't wait to get to hell..
If I go to Heaven, there will be nothing but beggers, peasants, and priests.
But if I go to Hell, I shall be in the company of nobles, kings, and popes.

maybe you should read the news and catch up on the wars we have instigated for the last century.
And how exactly does that pertain to killing babies so they get a fastlane to heaven?

I the answer to the OP's original question may be this: They don't truly believe.
Deep down inside everyone who wastes an hour on Sunday has a little voice of reason whispering, where it once screamed, "All of this is a load of bullshit". Nobody truly believes. Even a suicide bomber must doubt seconds before they hit the trigger. It is human nature.
It is an evolved human response to refuse to believe in things that have no evidence. If we did not have it we would still be living in caves and thinking stars are campfires on the cieling of our great cave and the sometimes the moon tries to eat the sun. That evil harbinger of darkness it trying to kill our life sustaining good sun.
But the fact that we left those caves and discovered our potential through trial and error tells me a human being is prone to truly believe in something it can interact with in a real way.
To a staggering degree most of America tries to believe (in a fashion) the evil darkness is trying to snuff out good. I think I just called all Christians a throw back in human evolution. Ah well, if the cross fits...

I am serious. Everyone should read the bible from cover to cover at least once. Actually reading the bible is the absolute best way to make one secure as an atheist. Reading the bible will allow you to make a much stronger argument against Christianity than the one you made.

That's an easy one.
People will only kill babies for a year.
Then they will retire and ask for forgiveness.
Sins are forgiven, they go to heaven, the babies go to heaven, everyone wins.

This is what I was talking about and a prime example of not knowing what the bible really says.
The idea of an *age of accountability* is not in the bible. Christians twist a couple of vague verses in order to make themselves believe that their *loving* god doesn't burn babies in eternal hell.
Christians believe what the preachers tell them the bible says, not what it actually does say.

You reject the dogma not the substance, the basis on which Christianity had been founded upon. Christianity pre-institutionalized was more accepting and open to ideas than Institutionalized Christianity which has set code to be obeyed in order to gain salvation... That idea alone screams DOGMA and DOCTRINE, not what Christ message was...

99 of 100 Christian churches believe what I said to be true and base that off the verses I posted. Don't go getting all literally on me.

I thnk this has gone on long enough.
Any further Christian-bashing will have to be in a new--and, one hopes, less vulgar and more intelligent--thread.
