It'd be better to say that we don't know what things exist or don't exist. Suspend judgement (aka. fence-sitting)

If you accept that all things exist until proven otherwise, then you accept many mutually contradictory ideas.

You must work from certain assumptions, or axioms. Premises in which your beliefs are based on.

If someone took your belief literally and tried to live it, they'd simply get confused as hell.

All thing could exist until proven otherwise.
Just because they something hasn't been disproven doesn't mean it definitely does exist.
