* I wasn't sure where to put this, so move it if you want.

Okay Totse, so I dropped out of HS at the end of my senior year and decided to take my GED. My score indicates that I should be above the top 1% of graduating seniors, but on my HS transcript I just made it into the top 50%. SAT and College Placement tests indicate the same as the GED (SAT actually indicates top 2%, but it's w/e). My question is: should I give the college my HS transcript, or should I just give them my GED score. I'm going to be applying to 4-year colleges.

Also, If I took AP Classes and did well on my exams, do I need my HS transcript to achieve college credit for the courses? Would having high AP scores affect my chances of getting accepted, even if I did drop out?

Yeah, but I want to go to college. Life, to me, is about more than just making money. I want the prestige of having a doctorate, and I want to excel in my area of expertise. I don't really care how much money I make. But hey, if that's what makes you happy, then I have no problem with it; 350k/yr, even with HS and college is impressive, so good job on that achievement.

Whether you have your GED or not, schools are still going to look at your HS transcript.

It's not "either or".

Also, some colleges don't even accept GED's, because they're pompous French fucks

Moving to whatever that gay education forum is.
