We obviously know Scientology is one but what other one's are out there that do NOT involve $1000 auditing sessions? I remember Children of God came to this diner one time out by me and I was talking to one of them. They seemed like nice people and I regret NOT joining them considering the rumors I heard of mass orgies :(

Alanon is an out reach program of scientology I believe.

If you mean Al-anon, it started out as a kind of ladies auxiallary of AA. Now it is a12-step program in its own right, and has no affiliation with any other group, as to do so would violate a tradition.
