So my mother is offering me to go on a bus trip from Riga(my home city) to Rome(with a few stops along the way) and back to Kaunas, Lithuania(where she will pick me up).
Should I do it? The bus will probably be full of Boris's and Tatyana's(read: Russians), and Latvians and Russians don't get along too well. Doesn't help that I can't speak Russian too well. My mom says that they will all be able to speak Latvian, but I'm suspicious that she just wants me to go. I don't really want to be sitting on a bus full of people I can't have a normal conversation with.
Second of all, the cost of the trip is pennies - around 170 Euro. That is a hell of a deal to get from a Baltic state to the bottom of Europe in the span of 7 days. But I'm skeptical about the quality of the bus and living for a price like that.
If I go, the stops will be in Krakow, Venice, Rome, Naples, and Vienna.
I know I must sound like an ungrateful fuck, and I'd really like to go, but not with a nationality that occupied my country for 50 years and are still pretty nasty little fucks about it, too.
