First season was actually alright, then it declined rapidly with filler, shit pacing, QUALITY, and hours worth of redundant flashbacks.

I've been watching Naruto and it's pretty good. I wouldn't consider myself a narutard though. Especially because I don't sneak around and pull of "ninja" techniques.

The flashbacks and the fillers are really annoying, but when they are actually fighting it's pretty good. I've heard Bleach is 1000 times better, so I may switch to that pretty soon.

Bleach did the same thing. Started off kinda slow, peaked during Soul Society arc, turned into filller and QUALITY.

Yup, both are well written and the pacing only slows when you start hitting fillers.

I realy enjoyed the manga, but can't force myself to watch the anime because of filler and shitty dubs. If you actually take the time to read through the story its great, part1 was far better though. It's got alot of strategic fights and it isn't all about "power levels" like bleach and DBZ. A > B and B > C doesn't mean A > C in Naruto, so the fights are unpredictable and entertaining. Sure it's no Death Note or Gantz, but it's fun to read somting directed towards a younger audience once in a while.

It all comes down to opinion though, and what interests you in manga/anime. No reason to be an asshole about it :/ Care explain WHY you don't like it, instead of just being a troll and insulting people for their opinions?

Honestly, the story just doesn't flow well as it use to. Don't get me wrong, the series is OK at best. I still read it just because I kept up with it all these years, why not finish?

It's definitely no One Piece or Hunter X Hunter in terms of story, character, or fights but I'll at least admit it's better than Bleach which is just a DBZ clone in term of story formula.

QFT. The manga is much better, the anime just doesn't give the story justice, plus the anime just makes it seem like a show for little kids. (Well, I suppose Naruto is directed at a younger audience, but still...)

Although the more recent chapters have been getting a little fucked up. Kishimoto has really jumped the shark, hopefully it will get a little better. :(
