For me it would be Plant Diversity. The lectures were painful to try to stay awake through, but there were no tests or quizzes, and the homework consisted of several weekly questions about plants, the answers to which were all on wikipedia.

Hmmm... Probably Financial Literacy 1050. I couldn't fucking believe some of these people not knowing what NASDAQ was. Fucking Americans don't even know about the world they control. Every third day was spent on the computers playing a fake stock market game, which I won.

psychology (whatever the first year core unit is). multiple choice exam, simple comprehension questions. it's amazing that the fail rate is so high. an interesting unit, but you would have to be really pathetic to fail it. once of those "everyones a winner" units.

The easiest college class I've ever taken would be Oceanography. I think it was more of the teacher rather than the subject manner.

heh, i once overheard a conversation between two students here. a girl said "yeah omg psych 100 was so hard too. i studied for HOURS and pulled off an A-!" and the guy said "see, that really impresses me because that was one of the harder classes i've taken."

me and my friend looked at each other as i supressed the urge to yell out "RETARDS!" and hit them both in the back of the head.

easiest class i've taken has been "intro to aviation," a very basic course giving an overview of the aviation industry, general terms, career paths, very very basic science of flight. wasted class though, as i later decided not to go into aviation. :(

History and Philosophy of Science. 12 weeks - 12 different discussions. 300 words on each, then a final essay on practically anything you wanted. If you could read the reader and write an essay, you were fine. And only 3 contact hours a week.

But I've never had the pleasure of doing a subject that pretty much comes up to 90 piss easy m/c questions in 3 hours.
I know they're offered, I've heard people gloating about it!

In high school: Psychology, hands down. We never did any work in that class, we would literally just sit there and play cards the whole period. Occasionally the teacher would give us quizzes, but he allowed us to cheat and would end up giving us half of the answers anyways. Same with tests. Oh, and sometimes the teacher would get out his guitar and we would sing songs about the terms. One of the songs went like this:
Classicaaaal conditioning is different than operant/ becauuuuse the stimulus comes first/ Social learning assuuumes that learniiing is purposeful/ And somewhaaat self-directeeeed.
And then there was a line about some kid in the class being a loser. Yea, catholic schools ftw.

In college: ROTC. Seriously, that class is a fucking joke. Every semester there's a couple of seniors who take the class just to boost their GPA's, because it's a guaranteed A. We have seriously watched this video at least 10 times, just because the cadre think it's hilarious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvRSzMcMnOk
Yesterday, we watched this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngRq82c8Baw
Yea, pretty much all we do in that class is watch funny videos and learn how to read maps.

The easiest class I've taken was Media Studies. The second easiest was Organizational Behaviour.

i'm taking a class called dialog and dialectic, and i'm pretty sure i got y'all beat.
no papers.
no tests.
no other assignments.
and get this...at the end of the semester we tell the teacher what grade we want.
you have to understand that this is a full credit college course. all we do is sit there and talk about anything. there was one day when all we did was sit and stare of each other for an hour and a half. the only thing that was said was the professor saying at the end of the period: "well, i don't know how to end this so"

I'd hate to think what kind of programs you are in that have that easy of courses. The easiest course that I have taken has to be Econ 201.

well, my school is fairly prestigious. its just this one professor who has been there for 30+ years. rigorous classes are out there, i've taken a lot of them, but i'm at the end of my college career and not really caring too much about most classes (i.e. ones that have nothing to do with my major).

i think that most of them would be options in a course, and people chose an easy one to take some pressure off. in my degree i got three or four optional units, but i wasn't expecting physchology to be such a walkover, i did it out of curiosity.

Well I could of guess that, I ended up by taking the econ class as one of my two options. I'm just sort of geleous that people are able to take/find/get credit for such easy classes.

Intro to Pharmacy, Intro to Patient Care

Both were one lecture a week that was at most one hour long. Exams were on-line. Homework could be done in 5 minutes.

Microeconomics- Just a really easy class. If you couldn't understand the concepts of a basic micro class, you're a retard.

Intro to psych- Easy subject matter coupled with the fact that the prof gave "reviews" to her exams that was just the exam with the multiple choice answers mixed up.

Currently, my ancient history course is really easy. Only two people didn't get a hundred on the first exam. He gives you his lecture notes and tells you the essay questions you can choose from before hand.

My online managing diversity in the workplace is also easy, I just have to remember what days the homework is due.

Painting 101 and Design 101.

Painting was easy because you just needed to have a simple conceptual idea, and design 101 was easy as fuck cause all you needed was basic photoshop/freehand skills.

Algorithmic Problem Solving. Got given a book at the beginning of the semester with all possible approaches to exam questions, the material covered things like how to find patterns/strategies to win any two-player game, bit of staggeringly elementary mathematics, and a lot of tables to fill out. I miss that one. :(

General Psychology, easiest class I've ever taken in my entire life. No tests except the final exam, and we had to write maybe three two page papers. She gave automatic 100's on them if you weren't a complete moron. I ended up getting a 103 in that class, because she gave us 5 bonus points for taking a survey or something online.

Sociology. We just talked to each other while the teacher was off on some tirade that had nothing to do with the class.

Grade was based on 3-4 (there were so few of them I don't remember) "assignments" that were all multiple choice questions. Material was beyond easy too.

Easiest college classes were
racquetball - 1 credit. played racquetball twice a week.
biking - 1/4 credit, we met once, got a sheet to fill out and had to hand it in at the end of the semester.
walking - same thing as biking. It was even the same paper.
wellness and fitness - 2 credits, once a week for 15 to 30 minutes & have a worksheet to do for the next week
career awareness - 1 credit, once a week, but lots of classes were cancelled. Just did shit that people do with a high school guidence counselor.
western civilization 1 & 2 - 3 credits each, take notes and take a couple multiple choice tests. easiest class over than a p.e. class i've ever taken

All of those classes except for career awareness are taught be the same guy. He also teaches economics and those classes are pretty easy. I'm gonna major in economics, so hopefully he actually taught be some stuff I need to know, but I doubt it.

I go to college for the credits, not the education. The easier the class the better. I'll have an Associate's degree in May and then I'm going to a real school.

English- Real Life Stories (Senior Year of High School)

The guy rarely gave out assignments, and even more rarely collected them. We spend most of the class talking amongst ourselves, talking with him about some cool things (*see below), or watching movies.

*We'd talk about pretty much anything and everything. One day we talked about the most horrific way we could kill a lot of people. His idea was to find a baby with AIDS, slaughter it, and throw it into a crowd below the Empire State Building. I don't know how we got onto the topic, but it sure was lively. Cool class, even better teacher.

Intro to Business (high school)

We'd get the same type of work everyday. Answer some questions from the textbook and then have the rest of the period to ourselves (mind you, they were questions which required no thinking and I'm sure elementary school kids would have no problems answering them).

Despite being incredibly easy, it was also incredibly boring. I'd finish the work in about 10-15 minutes and then have no idea what to do for about an hour.

i had an intro to business class freshman year of high school. luckily, ours was computer based in and in a computer lab, so when you finished the painstakingly easy assignment in 15 minutes, you could go online and look at shit that wasn't blocked by the school, ie various game sites. a lot of the assignments were just typing. different formats of letters and shit.

i remember being excited about learning how to balance a checkbook. it took the guy two minutes to explain it, one of the rare times he actually got up and said something in front of the class. after i saw how easy it was, i realized i could've figured it out for myself. looking back, i'm disappointed we never had to do like, income taxes or any basic accounting in that class. waste of time.

anthropology. it was literally just common sense. i slept through the entire first half of the semester, then came home for spring break, got a laptop, and played half life every day in the back of the lecture room. i ended the class with an, A, and at one point was getting 103%.

Advanced Communications- We do highly important activities like identifying the titles of articles and write a paragraph every two weeks on a Newsweek article. The teacher even told me to my face that it was a bullshit class.

Algebra II- I suck at math but when I transferred schools, I got shuffled into nearly remedial math. We have pre-factored math tests. Someone needed a calculator to add 7 and 4.

Whatever Carpentry certification it is I have, and most of it was done blazed and hungover, and the theory was literally shit a 9 year old could do.Getting a piece of 90x45 chunked by a 30 odd inch ripsaw can be a little frightening when you're high as fuck though.
Hardest was Year 10 advanced maths with an immigrant teacher, no shit. Harder than the advanced diploma course I'm doing.

astronomy 101 - only course I ever had or ever will have that wasn't directly related to my course. Took it purely because they give everyone one half-unit worth of elective to allocate to the appropriate remedial unit (this is the first semester of first year uni), and some of us didn't need a remedial unit.

Anyway, the course itself involved a two hour lecture from 6-8 pm, in a small, warm, darkened room, with stars projected on one of the walls, and a guy speaking in a soft monotone about... well, something.

Needless to say, not a lot of attentiveness.

Assessment was via two assignments, both of which I did a few hours before they were due with the aid of wikipedia, and a 1.5 hour test I completed in half an hour, and wandered if I should wait the added hour to check out the telescope he said he would show us.

Got a HD (highest grade available).
