I have to say I hate the word "computadora"

It makes a great invention sound retarded.

^^ An easy solution to that is to call it 'un ordenador' or a 'portátil' (for a laptop). You'll sound more refined. Not sure if everyone outside Spain understands those words, but I would imagine most do.

Once you're sick of that, start referring to it as 'un ordeñador' just for shits and giggles. Native speakers might look at you all like "what the fuck?" but it's all good.

I live in Spain and the words that people overuse to the point of nausea here are "vale" (generic word for all right, okay), "tío/tía" (like dude or chick), "ya" (word that means 'yeah' or "right" but has a sort of "I already know" or "duh" connotation to it), "claro" (people say that all the fucking time, even when something's not 'claro' or obvious) and "venga" (a word that almost everyone says at the end of a conversation when you're both going elsewhere).

They're cute at first, but get damn annoying after a while . . . at least for me. Maybe we say stuff in English that annoys people who are learning our language.
