Us humans put huge amounts of discussion and effort and energy into our own beleifs and religions.
One of the first memories of relgion I have was when a Religious guy came to my school to tell us about god (read: Attempt to brainwash kids into beleiving).
I asked him about animals, I asked him that if they didnt pray, or give thanks to their god before they started eating, or worship, then did that mean they were going to hell?
I never got an answer to that, I think the fucker just laughed.

So.. what about animals? Are we to assume that as they're 'Just animals' they simply blink out of existence when they die?

And if so, does that not make us humans rather arrogant to assume that we're not animals ourselves?

Would this not simply show that if we do meet a god after death or do go to heaven or hell, but other animals dont, wouldnt that mean that there is only a god, satan heaven and hell for those who beleive in it?

..Or should I be buying my pets Rosaries on my next payday?

The complete mapping of the common chimpanzee genome in the summer of 2005 showed the genetic difference with humans to be 1.23%

This 1.23% appears to be the difference between having a soul and not having a soul.

That is another huge inconsistency in religion.

If Yes, then how do they know about God if they are animals and can't comprehend the idea?
If No, then it would be logical to assume humans only have a god because they can comprehend the idea of god.

I once read that heaven is the place where, after you die and go there, all the dogs and cats you ever loved come running to meet you.

Makes sense to me.

Animals worship God more perfectly than man, for they do not worship materials, nor emotions, nor ideals, nor moralities, nor other beings, nor self, nor chemicals, nor perceptions, nor anything else.

If the after-life exists, and it is based upon degree of reliance upon God, then other animals will be seated more favorably than the most perfect of humans.

In one of the CWG books, God was asked if animals have souls.

God said, look into their eyes, and decide for yourself.

Firstly, there is no such thing as heaven.
But hypothetically, if there was such a thing, no animals would be allowed access because they are incapable of forming an idea of what god is, they are just driven solely by instinct.
Humans created the idea of god, so humans go to heaven, nothing else.

Its all bullshit. There is no way around it. This is just one of thousands of stupid contradictions that are to be found within most religions.

Could be that animal spirits evolve into more advanced spirits, like humans.... Or Charizard.

I'm hoping for the latter.

Any animal, just like you, just like a plant, just like a mountain, will come and will go. Where they 'go', is the same place everything 'goes' ... everywhere. All is one.

I often like to wonder what animals 'think' about, or what their 'thinking' is even like compared to my own. We may be genetically less then 2% different from chimpanzees, but that small difference gave us the edge to dominate the world and create and exchange and learn so much that is truly incomprehensible to a chimpanzee. It also gave us just enough to wonder about things like God.

Animals don't think about God or reality, and it doesn't matter if we do or not either.

Existance in it's entirety is a mass of shifting energy.
To me the real question is "does all energy have consciousness?".

If so that answers a all sorts of things.

I can tell you that it does, but you won't trust it until you experience it.
