So i watched the first ep last night and oddest things i have watched. I mean robots coming out of a guys head :confused::confused::confused:, i was just like what the fuck is going on.

Is it worth finishing?

I got pretty obsessed with FLCL after seeing it while on drugs. I got both of the mangas to try to comprehend what was going on, but got even further confused.

I watched it many times trying to figure out what it's about, but the BEST way to understand it is to watch the directors commentary. There are a lot of Japanese culture references in it which some like me wouldn't get.

The music fits the anime well, and the animation is pretty badass.

She was having a robot sent over to help her. I assume the big one was the one that was supposed to come out, but the medical machanica one messed it up. If you remember, she is often talking to the other side in the series. (it looks like she is talking to the cat)
also, after the robot came out, she was looking around saying "where did he go?" because she was expecting the other robot. which oddly enough came out later to kill them.

Hard to compare them in weirdness, but there are some differences betwen the manga and the anime. You should watch it.

i have only read a little bit, and unless i am mistaken, it is more clear that she is working with, and talking with others in the manga than in the anime.

Its worth watching a few times.

either way flcl is one of the greatest pieces of meida to come out since the turn of the century and is absolutely the bees fucking knees.

Oh man, I just started watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. It makes more sense than FLCL to be sure, but just from watching it it was really obvious Gainax was behind it.

Pretty good show. As is necessary with any good anime, there are giant robots and a scantily clad girl with an enormous gun. :)
