So where should I go and why?

I'm seventeen. I'll be going with my mom and dad and maybe my sister. And I will be wondering off on my own a lot. I also live in California so I'll probably go to one of the islands near Florida. Or maybe Cancun but Cancun seems kind of lame when your going without any friends. I wish Jamaica was an option.
