Buddhists think this earth is not real and the ACTUAL reality is different from what we are experiencing right now.

How can they say that everything right here is NOT real?

Let me tell u a story..

a man is walking in a forest alone in a night. He suddenly sees something sees at a distance.. he becomes curious as to what it is.. he thinks its a snake.. but he wants to confirm that, and he bends down and touches it and it turns out to be a rope..

NOW, that man knows that rope is NOT a snake because he has seen a snake before..

But nobody has seen/experienced the other world.

you have to see the other reality to confirm this reality is false. But practically/spiritually too its not possible.

buddhists are cunning.

Iam hindu BTW, and believe in dualistic approach.

You don't have to experience the other reality to know it's there; one can arrive at the conclusion by thinking about it.

From my experience with Buddhism, it isn't that Buddhists believe that actual reality is somewhere else, but right here. What you perceive as reality is only illusionary. Ok, you found a rope, but that rope will eventually no longer exist. Buddhists believe in impermanence. Through impermanence, objects that we perceive are illusionary, because one day they will cease to exist. This is the reason Nirvana is inexplicable.

Through all of this, one question has been raised. Is Nirvana impermanent?

Glad to see you again, Merlinman.
