Would you recommend it? I have just recently broke my right ankle, and ive got a flight to amsterdam next wednesday, then from their around europe using on of those rail cards. Hopefully by then i will have an over boot, but more than likely crutches, what do you reckon? :(

The only advice I can give is MAKE SURE you have insurance. Your leg could fuck up again and you could end up with a hefty bill you can't pay for.

Also, don't feel bad stealing a wheelchair from the airport. It might make things easier in the long run.

Don't be afraid to ask for help carrying things. Stairs can be a difficult thing on crutches, or even with a walking cast.

Thanks for the response, ive decided not to go now, my GP advised against it, im gonna go after my ankle has healed.

Yeah, walking is really how you see Europe, and you'd be missing out/wasting your time if you couldn't get around on your own steam. Wait til later.
