okay, well considering i MAY be getting some pyro-related chems soon, i was wondering

what should you actually store them in??

i mean, i was kinda thinking, well since alot of the pyro things are shock and static sensitive, why not a barrel coated in rubber? wouldnt that be like perfect for flash or BP?? a lil 2-3 lb barrel with an inch of rubber ^^

anyway, other than the container, where SHOULD they be stored? a carpetless/concrete floor im assuming? away from electronics?

just getting a recap before i get back into this kinda stuff.

Just about the only composition you should store is black powder. Everything else should generally be made as needed.

There are exceptions where you can mix up and store KP/hulls and such, but it all depends on what your going to do.

Some tame charcoal streamer star compositions can also be relatively safely stored in bulk. If you use perchlorate priming compositions these can also be made and stored for use, though they are quite violent.

For actual chemicals, most people just use the bag/tub they came in. Gallon plastic jugs are nice. Really all depends on what and how much you are making.

yea i see what you mean. but i mean, id not only feel safe bu t cool as hell with a lil rubber drum of BP :)

but i guess this is more of curiosity WAY before i can even start bulking pyro... :(

oh well, when i come of age it will be worth it

dude your workbench is like an optical illusion. i sware it looks like it goes to the bottom of the floor!

put a scaled down car up on a scaled down carlift thing and you could confuse the piss out of people.

it hurts my eyes :(

I just bought a 500ml (roughly) glass jar with a ground glass lid and joint for 4 bucks. They have a 250ml jar as well I want to get, but it's the same price. I love little antique malls.

Ground glass joints are fucking sexy.
