i wanted to be a paramedic (or EMT, i think the teriminology refers to different jobs in areas outside the US). sounds exciting/rewarding. but they only make like $30,000 a year. still kind of appeals to me, but i'm already two years in at a 4 year university. feels like i can't quit now, and i'd probably regret it anyway.
still, part of me wishes i had just stayed home, got an associates or whatever, and went that route.
what about you guys?

How can you confuse the name?
Para - Latin - past, beyond
Medic - Medical
So, someone who specalises in medicine who travels. In Australia it is the guys who are in the back of the an ambulence or a medic in the military.
I wanted to be a cop when I was younger : /

i've read that paramedic and EMT are different jobs in some countries. in the US it usually refers to the same thing.

i have a years worth of credit from my senior year in high school. i'll have 92 credits at the end of this year, making me technically a junior in the fall, and a sophomore right now.

Since you've changed your major already, you're probably looking at the same amount of time left as other freshmen, no?
