The only explosive I've ever used has been gunpowder. I've been wanting to get into other stuff. I've read about some kind of thing with peroxide, that is really powerful, but they said it was really dangerous, and could blow up without much reason.

I read how to make something with motor oil, and fertilizer, but you have to cook it, and everything (that really sounds dangerous).

And once you make anything, how do you test it to know it will actually work?

And is it alot more powerful than gunpowder? From what I read about the stuff you make with peroxide, they said just a pinch will make an explosion the size of a basketball (that is much more powerful than gunpowder.)

I guess I want something that will go off from vibration, but not something as unstable as what I read about. If vibration will set it off however, I can detonate it safely with an electronic detonator.

Your fucking retarded.

Stay away from pyro, for your own safety, the safety of those around you, and because otherwise you WILL do something stupid and hurt the hobby for the rest of us.

Try ammonium triiodide.

The only thing I could find was nitrogen triiodide, and if thats what you meant, I guess you're joking.

But I found another way to make something out of fertilizer, simply by grinding it up, and mixing it with a measured amount of gasoline, and motor oil, and no heating was involved. But it said it can only be set off by a blasting cap.

Dude, stop reading text files. We have in information links thread here. Go read all of that. Where ever you are getting your information from is bullshit.

Also, what are your intentions with such a device?
