When it comes to electronic detonators, all of the things use speakers, to vibrate. This doesn't sound reliable. Not all explosives can even be set off by this can they? I would guess it would work with gunpowder, just because thats what happens when a firing pin hits the primer, and a speaker vibrating would do more.

But instead of using the speaker, why not just rip the speaker off, and stick the wire into the explosive? Then whenever it's detonated, it will send an electric charge to the explosive, instead of just vibrating.

Like say an alarm clock, I rip it open, and then strip the wires running to the speaker, and stick them into it. Then when the alarm goes off, instead of the charge going to the speaker, it just goes into it?

They DO do that. Speakers? WTF? Go read up on blasting caps some more. Also, the two contacts must be close enough to create an arc of spark, which is what ignites the explosive, resulting in super sonic decomposition.


Just sticking two wires in does not work. Think of rocket engine ignitors on model rockets.


And your idea of bullets and how they work is VERY VERY wrong.

Yeah, I forgot, I recently learned the primers actually explode =/ because I read about powderless bullets.

Another idea, what about just wiring the wires to a small light bulb, and breaking the glass on it. As long as the filament didn't break, would this be the easiest way? (I'm assuming the alarm clock would have enough juice to atleast turn it on).

I really hate that about this hobby. No one ever understands anything more than just "lulz destructive powa" I mean of course, some people do, otherwise all of us wouldn't be here, but the vast majority of people are just so fucking stupid god it kills me.
