Does anybody know what the Mesh of the Aluminum Powder you find in an Etch a sketch is..? Also i assume that, that powder can be used, Yes? correct me if I am wrong,

Ugh... seriously... your going to get so little out of it... that you will invariably have more fun with the etch-a-sketch as it originally was.
And aluminum? I thought it was iron shavings... them being more common in magnetic demonstrations...

Etch a Sketchs are way too much fun intact to waste them trying to extract what little aluminium they contain. Still I guess if its your only source or you have lots of them... What mesh size are they usually?

LOL there is no such thing as "only source" especially with Al. OP, just go get an Al rod or bar, or scrap metal and grind it down. Rat tail file ftw. Actually, I have some Mg left, I should go buy some KNO3, it's been AGES since I've made flash powder.
