"A crafty Red Sox fan working construction on the new Yankee Stadium has tried his best to sabotage future seasons for the team from New York. The die hard member of Red Sox Nation reportedly buried a Red Sox jersey under the visiting team's clubhouse."

Repeat for emphasis:

A CRAFTY Red Sox fan.....

Maybe I'm wrong, and Humanity is right, I just planted a penny in a tub of dirt, if Humanity is Right a money tree will grow, If I'm right, nothing will happen except for the decomposition of the coin over the years....

Tried his best? Maybe he coulda killed of a few players and got a better result? Prolly just me, but I think that would work better than burying a f-n shirt....

This story reminds me of the canadian icemaker at the Salt Lake City olympic games who buried a loonie (canadian 1$ coin) under the ice for good luck... it worked!

If you think this is the result of someone actually being 'dumb and ignant' I think you are the 'ignant' one.

Yeah learn how to spell ignorant dude.

This is fucking insane though, their rivalry has now gone too far. And the Yanks are looking to press charges as well. Unbelievable.

Hopefully Ortiz breaks out of his slump though, he's killing my fantasy team!

Yeah learn how to spell ignorant dude.

You can't possibly believe he was attempting an accurate spelling, can you? That's the pronunciation for poor southerners and the negroes...

Or maybe he's never actually heard the real word 'ignorant,' I dunno, just like to give people some credit.

Either way, players may have the idea of a curse in the back of their mind and subconsciously play poorly to confirm their superstitions. Just throwing it out there.

Let's bring religion into this.

I think there is no God and thus all religious people are 'ignant.'

See how the argument could go on forever? Let the idiot have his fun.
