The twelve kingdoms is the best anime I have ever seen but I dont speak moon speak. I had it once before but now I have lost it. I cant play the subtitles that come with the .mkv files.

If someone could rip, find the subtitles to the first 10 or so episodes I would be sooooo happy.

I looked but couldn't find just the sub file, you could just re dl the first 10 ep's with the subs.

I have the first 10 with subs.
But I cant get mplayer to play it with them.
And vlc just ignores it.

I got all the libs I need now I get some weird error in vlc.
main private error: unknown chroma type 0x54584554 (TEXT)

Update:

I found out that in mplayer you can switch subtitles with "j".

I got the error: no font subfont.ttf (or similar)
so I copyed a font from /usr/share/fonts/TTF/afont.ttf
to ~/.mplayer/subfont.ttf

Then I switched it and I had subtitles W007!!!

I am now a weaboo~!

For vlc you just have to put the right font in:
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/freefont
