so im going to Amsterdam for five days this friday.
excluding the obvious (due to drug testing) what are some things worth checking out?

parks, museums, tourist traps, good food, bars, shops, anything really

hookers, the anne frank house, the art galleries, and get the fuck out of Amsterdam and get a train to Utrecht. It's way nicer.

The flower auction isn't even in Amsterdam dumbass.

There are a metric shitload of museums to go to, the most famous would be the van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum, and Stedelijkmuseum, if you're into art and antiques. There's also a naval museum, torture museum and a shitload of others, nice bars, clubs, parks etc. etc.

No drugs? No point!

I went with my parents when i was about 8, i still remember it, it was lovely :)
Be sure to check out the Anne Frank house, the secret door is inspiring to finally see in the flesh, after having seen it in pictures.

The Van Gough museum was good aswell, they have some of his earliest work there, its much more dark and sinister than his stereotypical sunflowers.

Thats all i can remember doing myself i'm afraid, it was a long time ago.
