To get ready for it, you need to convert your birthday to the Tzolk'in (http://www.tortuga.com/portal/decoder), the Mesoamerican calendar system.

Then, take your birth sign from above and create your birth chart by selecting your glyph from this chart (http://www.mayantimes.com/Birth%20charts.htm).

Then read.

I was born on Magnetic Moon day 8 in the Year of the Red Resonant Moon, so my birth sign is Red Moon. I click on the Red Moon glyph and find the following:

My "Challenge" glyph is Blue Storm,
My "Like Minded" glyph is White Dog, and
My "Occult" glyph is Yellow Human.

A "Challenge" glyph is "something that is sent to us as a gift. For if you overcome it you become a stronger person". Since my Challenge glyph is Blue Storm, which represents "self-generation, cataclysm and changes", my Challenge glyph means to change things or myself.

The "Like Minded" glyph "is a glyph that has more in common with you than any others. They are natural allies and together you make good partnerships." Mine is the White Dog which apparently symbolizes "love, loyalty and heart".

The "Occult" glyph "symbolises the magical gift that you have hidden within you, it is your ‘ace up your sleeve’." Having the Yellow Human as my Occult glyph is supposed to mean that my "magical gift" is "free will , wisdom and channelling", and is the psychic glyph of the Tzolk'in, and that means I "have a magical psychic abilities" that I "channel straight from the source. Do I necessarily believe in Mayan astrology? Of course not.

My younger sister happened to be this, and throughout childhood I argued constantly with her. We never agreed on anything, and we certainly did not like each other. Nowadays, I tolerate her, but I abhor spending any length of time longer than a phone conversation with her.
