Matt Taibbi is a hilarious writer for Rolling Stone. Well, this is an excerpt of his book that is coming soon. This article I have posted here is of him going undercover at one of John Hagee's retreats. John Hagee is a bat shit insane televangelist who supports Israel because he wants to speed up Armageddon. I am wondering how the hell this guy can support McCain, and Obama gets all the shit because of his minister. Well, this article provides some hilarious insight into Christian Fundamentalism which usually just depresses me and prevents me from reading further.

I was watching Jesus Camp, scary shit. It really shows how crazy these Evangelicals all are. Calling for the death of liberalism qualifies you as certifiably radical in the Western Hemisphere.

That was an interesting read. I wish I could do what the Rolling Stone people did (infultration), or Jesus Camp, and then spread THE WORD OF THE HOLY NOODLE!
Note: Christian fundamentalists, Islamic fundamentalists, whatès the difference? After reading this article (from OP), I cant tell the difference...

What a world it would be if everyone were indifferent to the beliefs of others.

I laugh about it now, but once he chased me, drunk, in his Fudgie the Whale costume. He chased me into the bathroom, laid me across the toilet seat and hit me with his fins, which underneath were still a man's hands.
Fucking awesome.

Again no reaction from the group, aside from an affirming nod from José at the last part — his eyes said to me, I know what you mean about those fins.
You forgot the best part.

I already pre-ordered the book off of Amazon that this was cut from. It's called The Great Derangement by Matt Taibbi.
For a brief, fleeting moment I could see how under different circumstances it would be easy enough to bury your "sinful" self far under the skin of your outer Christian and to just travel through life this way.
I found that interesting.

The whole article was a great read. I'm looking forward to the book.

What I find particularly lulzy is that parts of their political ideology could actually be classified as neo liberalism.
