I was interested about learning about tarot cards. What would be some goof info about techniqs and decks and anything else a noob would need.

All the decks available commercially come with instruction books. The Rider-Waite is probably the most popular, but neither my wife nor I care for it. (I use the Robin Wood deck, she owns many different ones.)

I'd suggest going to a big bookstore, check out what's available and go with whatever feels right to you.
