Mentalisim is at once the newest and oldest science known to man.
We've been so mesmerized by television, internet, and super malls for so long now.
But sooner or later people get board with all this pointless crap and begin to explore the Ætheric realms. Much more fulfilling than anything in the physical and elemental plains, in my opinion. In fact, Æther is what everything fundamentally IS. So if you learn the language of Æther, well, words can't describe, words can't describe.

You'll want to begin with silent meditation, completely stop all thoughts and concentrate on your breath. It will be hard at first, but like anything else, it takes practice. Do this for about 10 minutes, then you move to next step. Imagine that you are in a sculpting studio with a few other people with clay on the tables and whatever else you want, observe every detail that is around you.
Once you have all details in you mind, turn Æther into clay. The Æther can now be wrought to your liking because your consciousness has control over it. Turn your hand into a bird and let it fly around the room, you can control its flight path. Shape your other hand into a knife and harden it using only your mind. Slice through the Æther and mold it back together. Watch as the part of the wall bubbles out. Go into the minds of those people in the room and alter their thought. Affect the photons of light as they cross the room through the window. It is All Æther.
This is just n00b stuff (which I still am), there are way more advanced techniques that can be mastered and applied with astral projection and psychic phenomena.
Remember, to a mentalist Æther is the only thing that truly exist.

Doesn't this deem true to any aspect of the future? I don't see why 2012 is needed to remind us of this.

I believe 2012 or the few years ahead of us..., and now, are periods of greater potential change for mankind. The world is still changing, even though every day could be the day.....the days in the near future are the days that are going to have the greatest impact on our future. Even though it's possible at all times, this is an opening through which we can change ourselves, just because of the greater awareness throughout the planet.
