A couple weeks ago I was arrested for public intoxication even though I was in my dorm at the time. I wasn't exactly in my right mind and don't remember most of it, however they didn't Breathalyze me. The only thing they found in my system was marijuana.

My court date is on tuesday, may 27th. How do I go about getting a public defender and what do I say when I show up on tuesday? I don't want to plead guilty, I want to fight it. (unless they give me a plea bargain for disturbing the peace, I will take that)

I assume you've got some sort of documentation from the court for your court date. Look for a contact phone number or look for the name of the courthouse and try to get hold of a court secretary. They should be able to give you information (phone numbers) for public defenders, or at least tell you the procedure you need to go through to get one.
