I might go to NYC for about a week this summer and I was looking at the cost of tickets from New York to Jamaica. Turns out it's 400 bucks. I'd like to go but I'm going to NYC alone and meeting my seventeen year old friend there. He'll get there a few days early because he's going for three weeks and staying with his 22 y.o. sister. So can my friend and I go without parental supervison if we have permission from our parents?

Do you both have passports?

If you have a passport, you can go anywhere. You should tell your parents you're leaving though, they might report you as missing and call the police, who will call customs and you will get stopped at the border. But you don't need permission to travel if you're a minor.

Wrong nigga. You need a permission to travel letter from your parents to leave/enter a country if underage.

Jamaicas fuckin cool. I recommend going to Negril then to Black River to do the boat ride and see some alligators. Don't go on your own though its not as bad as they say but it is still dangerous.
