When I go to conventions I always go in cosplay. What I do is I go in normal clothes and I tell people that I'm cosplaying as a non-faggot.

I'd Cosplay/Crossplay but there are never any good conventions near me.

I don't have the money to buy costumes or the skill and patience to make them, so no.

I cosplay'd as an ANBU member for anime north. Then I decided that there are to many Naruto noobs out there, so I'll never do that again. Some buds that I went with cosplay'd as Travis Touchdown and Desert Punk. It was pretty sweet.

I haven't gone to any cosplay. I would like to see one but I doubt that I'll dress up as any character.
Anyways, some here say that cosplay conventions here typically suck and full of underage b&.
I don't like the look of some of the cosplayers. Like wearing Final Fantasy costumes that doesn't look good on them...

I crossplayed as Kaito Kid a while back. That's about the only good one (except Severus Snape, which isn't anime so I don't know if you would count that).

I wore a Naruto headband at a con this weekend. A friend bet me £10 I couldn't get laid wearing it. I went and got baked as fuck with non-geek friends instead of going out, so I failed, but the bet was one sided; he'd give me a tenner if I could get laid wearing it, I didn't owe him anything otherwise.
