What rules do you play?

We play ten cup, one shot per person. None of that scramble bullshit. Two reracks. Airballs and explosions are both legal. Explosions are only three cups, two of which are chosen by the team who was scored on. You have to call "leave it" if you want a chance at the explosion.


Beer pong is the best game ever.

It varies a little bit with my friends depending on whose place we're playing at, but usually we do 10 cup, 2 players on a side with each player getting one shot. If both players on the same team make it they get it back. Besides that we don't do any other rules or anything, just keep it simple.

Although lately we've been doing a sort-of round robin tournament, which is really fun. Its one player to a side, everyone plays everyone else and if you lose twice your out of the tournament.

6 cup or 10 cup (1/2 re-racks).

Bounce = Two Cups.

No paddles.

Both people make on the same turn = Get the balls back.

1 person: 6 Cup, bounce is legal until 2 or less, no calling of cups, no re-rack, two shots per person, both made = bring'em back.


2 person: 10 cup, bounce is legal until 2 or less, calling of cups = 2 cups until 2 or less cups, one shot per person, one re-rack, finger or blow isn't gender restricted.

we normally play the following rules at College Park at University of Wisconsin:

10 cups a side, one shot per person. Pull cups right away, make them both you get balls back. If the ball rolls back to the shooter after a miss, they get one shot behind the back (an amazing shot when it hits). Bounces count for two cups, two reracks when you want.

Also the NBA Jam rule: If a player hits two consecutive shots, they must state: "Heating up!" If they hit their third shot in a row, they say "He's on fire!" and then shoot till they miss.

Each player on the losing team on the final cup gets a rebuttal shot to try to clear the table, if they succeed, a three cup tiebreaker.
