View Full Version : How to stop Microwaves from the cellphone entering your brain

Alright, I don't feel like getting a tumor in the next 10 years, so I thought of a cheap effective way of doing this.

My phone is a sprint samsung upstage, so if you've ever seen one you'd see how the case for it is an extra battery, but on the front, there's a flap that's annoying and pointless.

I wrapped aluminum foil around that flap, and now I'm thinking perhaps that will stop about 68-70% of the microwaves, and while at home, just have a large piece of aluminum foil between your head and the phone...

Would this work? Doesn't aluminum foil block microwaves? (that amount that is.)

And can anyone think of a better idea besides stop using a cell phone?

Tin foil hat!

Foil reflects 100% of all microwaves.

Better idea, if you're really scared shitless of 200 MILLIwatts of 2.4ghz power near your brain, is to use a handsfree.

By comparison, a microwave oven outputs 5000 times as much power.

Using a handset will make the handset serve as an antenna, still causing microwaves to go through my brain at close range.

What? No...no.

The phone sends AUDIO signals to the headset, not microwaves. These are in the millivolt range, and do not cause any radiation of any sort. I don't know where you got the antenna bit from. The antenna is inside the phone.

Since the handset is further away from your head with a headset, the microwaves reaching your head will be weaker.

The headsets are bluetooth. The audio from the mic is also sent over with microwaves.

I know the OP is trolling, but I think long term exposure can cause real problems.

Moving to RFA.
