I tried Yoga for the first time today, my instructor was a Russian lady with a really awesome last name and accent.
I must say, I got an excellent full body work out, I feel way more flexible, and it helped me clear the content of my mind and connect to the source. I'm going to start going on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and possibly Saturday if I wake up early enough. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I'm going to try Tai Chi. I could have freely gone to these things for a long time now, but I've just been too lazy.
I honestly think the world would be a better place if everyone participated in clearing their minds and connecting to the source. There are plenty of classes out there that are probably free if you have a membership to something like the YMCA, for these group mediation Tai Chi and Yoga activities.
I highly suggest you join a group like these, you will feel great.
Trust me ;)

I once tried to do yoga with the lady on the PBS. After about 10 minutes I realized I'm terribly out of shape and about as flexible as a steel rod. Although, maybe I'll give it a more earnest attempt now that I have more free time.

I think you should, but I recommend finding a class, it would be much harder and less interesting without an instructor.
Then once you know what you're doing, you can do it whenever you want.

Upward Facing Dog FTW!
(bump, because I want to learn more about yoga)

Um, you would be talking about hatha yoga, right?
I seem to recall there are five different varieties of yoga, "yoga" itself being defined as a mental, spritual, or physical means of attaining enlightenment.

Upward facing dog is one of my favorites.
I'm not going on Mondays because it's at the same time as my electronic math classes.
But I'll tell you how Tai Chi goes on Tuesday.

*googles*
Yeah, exactly.
The class isn't a specific type, but thats what I'm using it for.
I am attempting to integrate Yoga into my life.
For abs.

Really anything about the yogic lifestyle I suppose. I'm going to ride down to the library in a few and check out a book on yoga, needless to say I'll be imparting my new found wisdom upon this wonderful forum.

I got back from my first day of Tai Chi, it turns out it was also the first day of the summer classes, so it was a bit chaotic and not as peaceful as it normally is. My instructor was an old and short Asian guy who's been doing it for 50 years. It was kind of like dancing, I felt very graceful. At the end we did these moves involving fans, it took me awhile to figure out how to position my hand to properly open the fan in the motion we were going in, but I got it eventually.
I think we will use wooden swords one of these days, thats what one of the old Asian ladies said they normally do at some point in the class.

The ones where if you make a mistake/disgrace the sensei, you can commit seppuku with the sword :).

That is for the Tai Chi class, not the yoga class.
