Guy without an account approached me on aim and asked me to make this thread. His aim sn is rhgunmasta if you want to talk to him directly

my father is now on disability, and i should be getting $637 a month, yet i get virtually nothing(maybe $20 a week SOMETIMES) i've said something about it multiple times, he says i eat that much just in food, also he writes me a check whenever he has to make a car payment to my mother so that "it shows the government that im getting money". it really pisses me off because i have less than a year before im 18 and stop getting my check and im out of school. and because i have no money since its hard to find a job here so it leaves me with no money after he kicks me out after i graduate. i have no idea what to do, what do you think totsians?'

and hey, send him an account if you have a spare

Question: Why is this guy "supposed to be getting" money? I was under the impression that disability pay was strictly for people over the age of 18. Welfare or something?

I'm not actually getting the disability, even though children under 18 can get it, my father is and every month they send me 637 along with his however much he gets. they send me money, i don't feel i should question why. so they send me money, its clearly in my name, but my dad keeps my money telling me things like "hell it costs that much to feed you".

You seem to be under the impression that the money SSI sends you is yours to do whatever the hell you want with. Save for college, blow on weed, eat out at McDonald's all month long, wtfever.

I don't claim to know all the ins and outs of SSI, but I'm quite certain that's not the case. That money they send each month is supposed to be for your care, feeding, clothing, everything else. A responsible parent isn't just going to hand it over to you. Disability means they can't afford to support you, so they're using that money to do it.

That said, it doesn't sound like your dad is very responsible, if he's using the money to support you for car payments. Fair complaint, and I think there are ways to report fraud to the disability people. You'd have to look up the number, though.

That money isn't for your college education or life after you move out of the house, unless your parents set it aside for that. Much as it may suck, society supports you until you turn 18. Not after.

God Bless the US of A and God bless I live in Holland :D

He's right on everything he said. The only thing you can do it talk to your dad about how this money should be spent or try and report him to SSI, like said. The best thing you can do is a)go to school, or b)get a job to get money for school.

Looks like Holland is going to hell, just like the rest of the overly liberal European gov'ts.

Ignorant american.

"We suspect him of insulting people on the basis of their race or belief, and possibly also of inciting hate," she said.

He was arrested after people filed charges against him. The police and DA's office then have no choice but to investigate. The "great show of force" they mention of 10 officers isn't true either. Two policemen arrested him and the others came along to seize the many sketches and computer's he had. They didn't all jump him in his bed.

I know the news reports are incorrect but people are so shortsighted anyways.
