I'm in the process of finding modern Russian TV shows for helping me to learn.

I found a great one called Счастливы Вместе, which is basically a Russian-version of Married With Children. Stylistically, it's really American (ie. I don't know if Russian life is like this at all), but the important thing is that it's Russian language.

PLUS, they speak fairly slowly, clearly, and loudly. I could actually understand most of the episode I just watched.

I subscribed to a Russian native, that was uploading Soviet Era movies.

Might come to use to other learners.

Most if not all movies have English Subtitles though.
