After initially being rejected in April, I find out today that I was the first person on the waiting list. Funny how shit works out. I had already planned out my year, with a focus on getting relevant experience in Pharmacy, volunteering and working at hospitals, joining a ton of Pharmacy organizations, and it turns out I don't have to.

that must be quite a relief. so you only had to do two years of undergrad then? will you be awarded a BS along with your PharmD or how does that work?

I get a BS in Pharmacology in two years, than after another two years I get a PharmD. I only have two years of undergrad. My junior year will be a P1 year, which means it's my first year in a professional school, so technically I will have only done two years of undergrad, but I also won't be considered a graduate student. It's all largely inconsequential in the end though.

It's a huge relief. I thought for sure having no experience would kill my chances. I guess my grades(above average in both overall and core science classes) and interview(my interview actually went over time, so I think I nailed that) compensated for my lack of experience, volunteering, and extracurriculars(I'm not in a single organization at my college).
