I'm mainly thinking of the Christian god here but also thinking of gods in general.
How could a being like god share the same emotions with us humans? I have trouble imagining an all knowing/powerful being could love. If one could love then one could hate also(?)
If our emotions come from our brain could one assume that god has a brain also?
I have to go but will post more later, thanks ahead for any helpful posts.

The answer is no. God doesn't need a brain or emotions because he exists everywhere.

God is so similar to humans b/c we created him.

Not only that but we sustain God through belief. All God is, is a belief. Without believers he ceases to exist.

We have the power to create and kill the all powerful. We have created and killed before, and will again.

Your church's know this all too well. Why else would they preach for indoctrination. Why would an all powerful being NEED humans to teach other humans about him?

Because God is merely an idea, and NOTHING more.

" I am that, you are that, all this is that, and that's all there is."

You may not consider it but, God is that too. Everything that exists comes from that, no need for a brain. I don't know why God loves though. But I know that I find it very fulfilling and beneficial to love, and I'm sure God does too.

So..........basically:

"I yam what I yam, and thats all I yam"

Wow, very deep indeed. I am now a believer in evil fruit and zombies. Good work.

The Christian god is based on Zeus.

As OP implied, it depends on the god. The Greco-Roman pantheon denizens were pretty much like humans, only more so.

The oldest Jewish deity, Elohim (sp?) was based more on the feminine or yin principle, later changed (or devolved?) into Jehovah, the yang principle, and had nothing to do with Zeus. The New Testament version as exeplified by Jesus pretty much repudiated the OT version--see the "eye for an eye" thing--although this is widely ignored by some present-day Christians.

(comps timing out--more on this next week)

" I am that, you are that, all this is that, and that's all there is."

"I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together."

Yep.

Furthermore, "all you need is love."

i'm curious, does god then have a penis? assuming one such being exists, and according to a certain book this might in some way be considered blaspheming.. so let's hope it doesn't for my sake? ..ehh??

^In my book, God is life itself--everything-- or rather, the loving, sentient and creative force that animates and sponsors everything.

Viewed that way, God has lots of penises--penii(?).

And to me, there is no such thing as blasphemy. God, being God, cannot be offended. Being infinite, anything one might say about him/her/it/them/whatever is not without some validity.
