I've felt it for a few years. There's something going on that isn't perceivable with the 5 senses, but you can feel it. Some underlying force, even now it's really hard to explain, does anyone know what I'm talking about, like things going on "behind the scenes"

Yes, I've had the same feeling and have put it to myself in the same exact words. It's just like you know there is a secret thing behind the things, and you want to figure it out. I think this is the "thirst" Jesus spoke of.

For so long now people have put their attention to such "earthly" matters as careers, money, possessions, etc. Now, more people are waking up to their eternal existence and tending to their spiritual needs. It's been increasing more rapidly since the the late 80's (88/89). Uranus conjuncts with Saturn approximately every 46 years causing disruption in the world and the tearing down of established structures.

Break up of the Soviet Union: 85/91
I was born during that conjunct, coincident? maybe. . .
You see, there is this eternal, all-pervading æther substance that is the only thing that really exists. All these so called things are just this One thing interacting with itself. My thing, your thing, his thing, her thing, no-thing, IS All-thing.
But what is this All-thing really?
Consciousness.
That is a very misunderstood concept, with thousands of differing interpretations. NO, it doesn't mean your thoughts and feelings, nor does it mean that thing you observed with your eye thing. This is consciousness but what this is not IS Consciousness. The former are the weeds growing around the Consciousness seed, so yes it is consciousness, but no, it is not Consciousness itself. This Source Seed Is Consciousness! and these seeds are in all things. But now we are thinking in the ignorance of separateness again, so let us change it around to say these seeds that are in all things are All the Same Seed!

Where was I. . ? Oh yes, now I remember!
The newest generation born during this conjunct (areas before and after received this energy too, but the +88/90- area received the strongest burst of it) are witnessing and partaking in the dissolving of boundaries through mediums such as the Internet. All of our thoughts are now connected through this phenomena we have created called the ethernet, we are now not as easily suppressed through the thought quelching institutions we are born into. The knowledge of the Universe (that our limited minds have brought back and translated into our limited symbols from our experiences) is literally at the tips (http://arxiv.org/)of our fingers.

Every wavicle is the center of it's own universe, sending outgoing waves from it's source seed which then interacts in the form of in-waves to all other source seeds. In the center of the wavicles universe (the spherical observable universe within infinite eternal space {The Universe}) the ætherspace begins to radiate at a higher vibratory resonance causing the fertile ground (soul as some would call it) which our duelistic physicality grows upon (the cross of matter) to begin it's transition into this higher frequency experience. The entire Universe consists of cycles (http://ray.tomes.biz/)and patterns because it is All this One ætheric substance interacting with itself. Every now and again these patterns become ideal for a Consciousness shift to occur. But if we are not ready for this shift, then the cycle repeats (Atlantis?) again and again and again until we reach the point where we've had enough, and mindfully choose it is time to move on, to continue forth into the realm beyond, to continue our souls evolution into a higher plane of existence!

It already is evident, at least more so than it was 5 years ago. I, as well as many others, think this may have something to do with 2012.

1. I've experienced such spiritual evolution in myself

2. Many ancient civilizations, most notably the Maya, have indicated this period in human existence as one of great societal change, or a paradigm shift.

I've done LSD and other hallucinogens. There is definitely something with them. Specifically LSD and mushrooms, one can have very profound, spiritual, life changing experiences and I have. They truly have opened my mind to places previously inaccessible. It's like what I'm trying to describe in my OP is a giant puzzle and hallucinogens give you a piece to that puzzle. Just as meditating could reveal another piece. In closing, in my honest opinion, if everyone in America were to take either LSD or mushrooms at the exact same time there would be a spiritual evolution in this country almost instantly.

Sure, LSD, peyote, meditation, etc.; Shamans have for centuries used everything from dancing to drumming and drugs to reach the "otherworld."

There wasn't a "god" or someone there to give it to us; those who want it go after it, those who don't continue the cycle of pleasure/pain. You don't have to use chemicals either, but they can be valuable tools to help accelerate the process.
