Just got back from MEPS yesterday, got my shipdate 20081027 MCRDPI, going to the RSS to get my job Monday.. Any shippers going in Oct?

I love how everyone develops an ingrained habit of writing the date in YYYYMMDD format after a few hours at MEPS.

I do that out of spite sometimes. I remember an nco handing me a pen with the paper i had to fill out then he goes uh its supposed to be in black. I got so pissed off i went to the copy machine and just did a black and white copy.

I think it makes more sense to write in blue, that way you can easily tell if a document is a copy or not. Marines aren't really known for making things convenient though.

If you've got trouble telling the difference between black ink and a copy then you have GOT to be a Marine.

I said easily.... as in passing glance, not close examination. If you deal with the mounds of paperwork like me, anything to make my job more convenient is something I seriously consider incorporating.

Ya ya ya doggy your infantry school is as long as my Marine combat training. But if you poolee's need to ask questions go to leatherneck.com there is a large forum full of Marines and we have a section for Poolee's
