D. Gray Man, or Code Geass. Otherwise there's always Digimon!
EDIT: Oh, there's Claymore. You should really watch that, it's an action about Demon hunters. It's the only one out of three that I've seen, the other two I've heard good things about.

OK, so i watched The Girl Who Lept through time and i liked it a lot. I started Code Geass and got to episode 25 expecting it to be the finale only to discover that there's a second season -_-;; So until i can find a streaming site that has the second season i've been watching Saikano which is, out there to say the least.
Also was have you guys heard of Origin: Spirits of the Past? My brother instructed me to download it but i can't find a streaming site or torrent with English subs.
Thanks for recommending http://www.anime-planet.com/anirec/ i like it a lot.

Someone gave me one for some reason, and it had 10000 points so I was able to make another one. :p
I downloaded the .rmvb version to save time. Definitely worth it. I now want more post-apocalypse type stuff. Anyway it was good.

I'm not really into anime, but I watched Serial Experiments Lain recently and liked it. I noticed that's not on your list, so you might want to try that. There's a torrent of it somewhere that's well seeded.

Byousoku 5cm is my favourite anime of all time;
On that subject, has anyone else seen Makoto Shinkai's other works? Hoshi no koe and The Place Promised in Our Early Days come to mind.
On topic: I also recommend Code Geass :o, definitely the current on-going anime to watch.
I just downloaded 5 Centimeters Per Second because of this thread, I'll watch it later today.

Yeah i've seen his other work and i really like what he does. The first time i actually saw his work was by accident. I was just clicking links on joox.com (before the stage6 nerf) and stumbled upon The Place Promised In Our Early Days. I liked it a lot.

Ah, I liked it too. :p
He also does a very short unique clip called "She and her cat"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBD5D040D44
The cat is actually referenced in Byousoku 5cm :)
His debut piece is called Voices of a distant star, a short 30minute anime which he originally did completely on his own over a course of 6 months, he used his own and his wife's voice for the two characters! Check it out sometime

I've seen Voices of a Distant Star before it was ok. The art direction in it kind of bugged me because i'm not a big fan of digital anime, but other then that it was superb for a 30 minute short film.
I'd also like to note that i really like the way he conveys emotions through his animes. His movies seem to go through great lengths to convey the emotions of the characters, when i watch his films i can literally feel the sad and joy the characters go through and that is why he is a badass.

Yeah, the way he connects his characters to the audience is pretty awesome. I actually liked Voices of a distant star, the characters looked weird, but like all of his work, he pays much more attention to the backgrounds than the actual people; which is the opposite of the usual conventions.
The actual moral was pretty corny, there was this manga made that ended differently. But I won't ruin it just incase you wind up reading it one day.
Have you ever thought of checking out anime like "Air" or "Clannad". I havn't seen Clannad, but I hear good things; my friend says that if you like 5cm, you'd like Clannad.

air gear
Don't watch it unless you really enjoy only seeing the first third of a series with little hope of ever seeing the rest. It was great, but I hate myself for watching it.
I'm considering reading the manga actually because I'll be fucked if I'm sitting like a boob waiting for seasons 2 and 3 to come when they most likely never will.

True and I felt the same way until I read the manga which is just as good if not better than the anime and you will love every page of it guarantee.

I also watched Gun Parade March which was also good but it didn't really feel complete after watching the last episode. Now i'm watching Kino No Tabi which i hear is pretty good and currently downloading Tsubasa Chronicle, Now and Then Here and There, Sola, Clannad and Gankutsuoh.

OK, just got done watching Clannad, it was really good, i recommend it for any one who hasn't seen it. The way they did the comedy was especially good, i was laughing through out the whole series.
I've got a few things downloaded, which one should i watch next?
Fat-Stay Night
Gankutsuou (I started watching this a while ago on TV-links but i felt the shitty quality didn't do the series justice so i torrented it.)
Green Green

I liked this a lot :D
Anyway, just got done watching Wolf and Spice (Anyone know if there is a continuation or something? Ending didn't feel complete) And i'm still working my way through Gankutsuoh. Sine the Anime reccomendation site is down for a few months does anyone know of a good series that resembles Clannad or the above mentioned animes? Right now i'm in the mood for a Bad ass anime [Examples: Gungrave, Cowboy Bebop, Fate-Stay Knight] or something less violent and more meotional [Clannad, Kino no Tabi, Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu, Hanbun No Tsuki Ga Noboru Sora, Heroic Age]. In the mean time i'll just finish up what i already have downloaded.

OMFG Tsubasa Chronicles is 52 episodes. I get to episode 26 expecting to see a finale and bam i'm left hanging only to realize i need to download season 2. Now 52 episodes is a little longer then i want to be watching an anime (E7 being an exception) but now i'm too emotionally invested to just stop. It is a good anime, I'm just trying vent at how much of a smack it the dick it was to find out i was only half way through.
This feels like Code Geass all over again -_-
