Barcelona is pretty expensive, so I'm staying about 20 minutes away, in a hotel in Salou.

I'm going so that I can see the Antoni Gaudi works; but other than that I don't really know what to do. Going for 11 days, any recommendations on what to do/go see?

I wont be bringing a car, but heard scooter/motorbike rentals are pretty cheap. Someone told me the drivers are fucking insane though, so he kept away from them. Anyone have any experience with this?

I think it would be allot of fun to drive around Barcelona and surrounding areas on a bike, but obviously don't want to get fucked.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
