My wife Kathy has been doing psychic readings professionally for over thirty years; me, about twenty. We do NOT try to predict the future, however. If this seems contradictory or confusing, you might want to read the following:

Please note this is NOT intended as advertising, only FYI. We both have more than all the work we can comfortably handle now.

Could it be that the real reason that you no longer try to predict the future is because people here point out when your predictions have failed (http://www.totse.com/community/showthread.php?t=1738260&highlight=predictions+2007)?

Flawless Victory!
Seriously, he "predicted" what would happen - anybody can predict the future. Are you suggesting he was "prophesizing" the future, which is a completely different ball-game?

No victory to be had. My post was intended as an honest question to ArmsMerchant. It was not intended as an attack, although after rereading it I can see how it would be taken as such.

I remember you once saying that Kathy used to predict her own future, but she got rather bored with life because there were no surprises.

I read it all and it was great. I browsed the site some and came across the reality check thing. I am hoping your wife will get my message in the comments section.

You cannot predict the future, and I've always been skeptical of "Psychics", maintaining that they're either ripoff artists or in need of money (Please take as little offense as you can..).
Now, lot's of people have predicted things in the future, but notice that we only establish the prediction as true after we connect it with an event that occurs after the prediction.
That's the best I can come up with. Whatever you predict may or may not happen. It more than likely will not happen, but the few people who predict things that DO happen are hailed as psychics and able to tell the future. People who try to convince others that the future CAN be seen never talk about the millions and millions of predictions that HAVEN'T come true.

Please be patient--her comp is in the shop right now, and her health doesn't permit her to drive the seventy miles to get to a library comp.

Predicting the future will only make life even more boring then it is now

No it won't. If I could predict the future, I'd make some money off that shit.
My life would be a lot less boring if I could predict the future in a nice place somewhere in the Bahamas.
