Has anyone seen these videos? I enjoyed them. Reza is an extremely intelligent guy and I've never been disappointed with Sam Harris - both in his literary work and public addresses. Comments?

Well worth the time spent watching. Both Harris and Aslan defended their positions with intelligent, well thought out arguments. Thanks for the links.

No problem. Reza managed to keep the conversation focused on the social/economic problems in Islamic countries and its relation or lack there to with the Muslim religion. This is what made the debate, in my opinion, much more interesting. Usually the topic of debate switches quickly to the actual existence of God and in those cases, Sam Harris will dominate the debate rather quickly.
I have been recently having a similar debate with a Muslim friend of mine - I've found it very insightful. Its not every day you get to speak 1 on 1 with a person of Islamic faith that is willing to explain his/her beliefs and debate without anyone losing patience with the other. Religion is one of the few topics that offense is taken with extreme ease.
Anyone else watch the videos?

I've only been able to watch small snippets of them at work - my computer speakers at home are blown out :(
Do you know if there are transcripts posted anywhere?

No clue. BookTV is run by CSPAN. I would check their website if I were you.
