If I was to come across a bottle or 30 5mg HC, what is preventing me from boiling it in HBr for a 95% yield?

I'de much prefer 135mg HM then 150mg HC...

also Boron tribromide or other boron trihalides can be used to demethylate oxycodone, hydrocodone, and especially morphine itself. It gives around 80-90% yields. And swim actually has done this and has a procedure for it.

Its simple, just need 3 grams of methylated morphine product (such as oxycodone, hydrocodone, codeine), chloroform, and boron tribromide. Swiy dissolves the freebase -codone in small amount of chloroform, mix the bbr3 in chloroform in seperate flask.
Take the bbr3/chloroform flask and submerge in ice to get it down to 0-4 celcius. Slowly drip in the -codone/chloroform product careful not to do it to fast, do it over a 10 minute period. Let react for 30 minutes with stirring. Filter this.

Setup a mix of 80 grams of chipped ice, 20ml of 28% ammonia, pour the mix into this and stir for 30 minutes. Filter out the morphine derivative (morphine, hydromorphone, oxymorphone), then and most importantly, wash with some ice-cold chloroform, and then some ice cold water. Open filter and put on evap plate, chop and let dry. This will give morphine hydrate, oxymorphone hydrate, or hydromorphone hydrate. Ready for converstion to there HCL forms, or simply add small amount to a spoon with small amount of vinegar to give acetate salt, add water and then you have your junk ready for injection.


This is simple as hell, and works with all codeine derivatives, opposed to HBr, which doesnt work with codeine itself, and from what swim has read, needs special environments to make work. good luck tho

Its nice to know that it has been attmepted and with success, apparantly. If you do not mind, was the Boron tribromide home made or bought? I have read a few "reports" of it from the hive and all the ones which used the home made stuff got some nasty results :(

Apomorphine anything is enough to keep m3h from any Opioid tinkering. Codeine -> Morphine looks so easy, until you pull the needle out and vomit to death.
