if you believe in the ability of conciousness to change things like i do then SO many people have 2012 set in their minds and lets be honest there are not many people who think things are going great in the world atm.

however im going to go for a natural or ecological or indeed astrological event to happen over anything remotely super/para normal. (so no alienz turning up pleading 'take meez 2z urz leedzo0rs bozz'_)

Well, you know that theory someone had, something like "if you had a million monkeys slamming away at typewriters, eventually they would produce the complete works of Shakespeare through sheer chance."
