I've watched quite a bit of anime but I've never seen one that simultaneously quenches my thirst for both killing and lulz. I'm looking for something as funny as Azumanga Daioh but with as much killing and badassery as Hellsing, No mecha though, I can't stand mecha. Any ideas?

I actually laughed my face off with Hellsing at times. I loved all the trash talking :D

I couldn't find any of those on streaming sites and I can't torrent them because its not my computer. As for Trigun I've already seen it and it is a perfect example of what I'm looking for.

Haha, you haven't even hit the shitfest that ruined this once worthy series.

Hmmm, Cheeky Angel comes to mind. It's pretty funny, and has a fair amount of badass fightage, not really blood/gore if you're looking for that though, just lots of beating the holy snot out of people.

Even though it's mostly mecha, try Guuren Lagann. It starts out silly and humorous, but then seriouses the fuck up.

Alright I just thought of this one. Desert Punk. It's about a perverted mercenary, and the adventures that he goes through in the open desert. I thought this was one of the most hilarious anime I've ever seen, and the action isn't half bad either.

I think the filler starts around episode 137, some episodes of it are ok but nearly all aren't worth your bandwidth. Skip to the end of episode 220 and then move on to Shippuden, although lately its been all filler :(

Basically watch until the Naruto Sauske fight is over.

Gintama is a good action comedy. It doesn't really have that much killing or badassery though.

Revvy, as the one who recommended you Code Geass, I HIGHLY recommend you Gurren Lagan. It gets REAL good after episode 7 or so. The ending is nothing short of epic.
