I will dream something and then weeks later it will happen. It is only happens for a brief second though, when i try to think about it again it is so hard to remember. I just have this felling of deja vu. Iwill stop and just stand there and be like holy shit, i remember this.

Has anyone ever had this happen to them before? Its amazing.

We have the power to see into the future. If you focus on it or have some way to connect you to it,it may happen.
Just my theory
But there is some evidence to it.(skeptics)
I'll look for the article.
It's happened to me before.

I normally look into the future with my crystal ball.

This happens to me. Sometimes the event happens a week or two later, other times, it happens as far as a year ahead. Kinda fucked up, but I think that is all deja vu really is.

I dreamt that I turned on my bedroom light and the lightbulb smashed.
When I woke up I turned on the light and all was fine, but when I turned on the bathroom light, the fuse popped out and all the lights upstairs went out. Whoop!

I've experienced a few things that could be classed as "psychic" but this is the only dream related one can remember.

Oh apart from dreaming I was being chased by a huge guy with a mallet. He runs up to me, raises him hammer, and just as he brings it down on my head the door downstairs slammed and woke me up.

Same thing happens to me.

But, it's never any significant event I dream about...only stuff like a conversation or something.

This happens to me every so often, also if I am looking for something, in the dream ill see myself standing near a certain place, or looking through a certain drawer, and there is exactly what I'm looking for. Doesn't happen all that often though.

this happens to me sometimes, my mom gets it more often. For example about 2 weeks b4 9-11 I had dreams of airplanes crashing. This was wierd cause I never had dreams of airplanes before, let alone them crashing.

I dont think you actually see the future, its more like your unconcious mind imagines things, based on things you heard (even things that slipped by you and you dont actually know when your concious) or have scene. This mixed with fears and hopes makes a dream, one time it comes true, other times it doesnt.
Its like horoscope readings, they cant be wrong unless they dont happen. but since they dont happen, it was only a dream right?

That's a form of deja vu.

it's possible i guess, but it depends on how you look at it. if you beleive the future is already set, then it's more likely. If you don't, then it's less likely to happen(like if you imagine yourself in a train with a gun you know not to carry a gun, etc)

confusing......i guess nearly everyone has had it happen

A good friend of mine had a dream about two years ago. In this dream, he was watching his own funeral. He was in the back corner watching all of the people file in. According to him, I was at this funeral, albeit significantly older. Now, people often dream about people that they know. However, I met him in September. In fact, two days after meeting him, he freaked out and told me this.

It's very interesting. I should ask him what I wore so I can plan accordingly...

Something similar happened to me once, I wouldnt call it paranormal but I would call it awesome.

I had a dream I was diffusing some sort of giant bomb. The thing looked like a nuke out of a 1950s horror flick, kinda with a retro-futurist look if you get what I mean. Just as I clip a wire -BOOM-

I leaped from my bed with the force of a pole vaulter and landed squarely on my feet. Turns out they were cutting huge sections of my street up that morning. To break the big rocks up they were lifting them 20-30 feet up and dropping them.

When you wake up and things that are happening in real life seem to correlate with things that happened while you were dreaming, it was your sunconcious kind of making adjustments, as you can still hear while your asleep. numerous times, there'll be a phone or something in my dream, and I'll wake up to it ringing in real life. Just my sunconcoius adjusting to information its been taking in.

But what about actual situations and conversations?
Your subconscious mind predicts these things will happen?

I haven't remembered a dream where the same situation happens in the physical world in about a year, but when it does happen an interesting feeling engulfs my body upon realization. Somewhat recently I have had a few where the meaning made sense weeks after the dream.

As for it all being caused by our consciousness beneath the surface, sounds like a possibility to me.
As for the accuracy of our subconscious, I'm not sure. Maybe we just think our dreams where like that.

Has happened to me. I dont know if I dream it or I think it, but most of the time the memories are pretty vivid, like I have lived it before, but just cant recall when. Sometimes Im not able to say whether Im dreaming or I dreamed something or it is/has actually happening/happened, though.
I usually know Im dreaming if I kill or am killing somebody. Happens in most of my dreams, for some reason. My mind is messed up.

It actually happens pretty often. sometimes Im in a conversation and I have the feeling Ive had the same conversation with the same person or people in that very same place before. Sometimes I happen to know what they will say just seconds before they say it, and the memory is pretty vivid, while my usual ability to remember sucks.

Its weird but its awesome.

This happens to my father A LOT. But in a more extreme way. For example:

A few months ago my dad woke up screaming, he thought we were having an Earthquake (we live in southern cali). After he calmed down, he explained he had a dream where everything was shaking, trees were burning, and fire was bursting into the sky. So I thought he was just crazy and having a nightmare. But like an hour later, I go on AOL.com and the front page news is about the volcano eruption in Ecuador. They had a picture that looked exactly as my father described his dream.

Now that just one example.. they aren't always about natural disasters. And countless times he has dreamed of celebrities dieing, the day before they die . It sounds stupid but I'm being serious. Like Harvey Korman who recently died.

If I recall, the human mind can "fake" memories--after/when something happens the mind "remembers" dreaming it when it in fact did not. Also, filling in of certain details of a previous dream is possible after the fact (apparently this happens quite a bit with witnesses to crimes).

Also, you only think about it when what you may/may not have dreamed of happened, ignoring all the times it doesn't. Humans just can't accept coincidences :D

Ya i read about the whole daja vu thing and how its a relapse in memory, but dreams that are described to people before events in them occur have been proof enough to me, like detailed enviromental surroundings or people you never see.
